This was a
Business to Business sales letter posted out to boat
dealers. The sender is marketing a swipe-type gift card
as an alternative to paper gift certificates. Content
which appears {like this} isn’t
part of the item itself - it’s my
commentary.
Target audience: Senior
Management - boat and marine
dealers
Mailout: Valiant
BoatCards{name
changed}
Purpose: Open sales
appointments for sales staff
The mailing
envelope was a DL (110mm x 220mm) linen, with database
driven addresses using hand-font “Bradley’s Hand” to give
the impression of personal
mailing.
In top left corner
was a rubber stamped image: “WIN-WIN
PERSONAL”
The letter was
standard A4 (210mm x 297mm portrait), two pages stapled
top left corner, 85gsm cream tinted laser
bond.
The brochure was a
standard A4 4 colour process 150 gloss art brochure,
folded to DL as a 'Z'-fold
The letter plus
commentary follows on the next
